On this Melbourne, to Darwin tour, the landscape is rugged and vast. Hitting the Great Ocean Road, here you will finally be by the sea, marveling at the twelve apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, and the London bridge. We then hike the Grampians National Park before heading to Adelaide. After leaving Adelaide we go north towards Alice Springs to make our way out to Uluru (formerly known as Ayers Rock), Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and then Kings Canyon. Then we head up the center of Australia visiting the Devils Marbles, Daly Waters, Mataranka Hot Springs and Katherine Gorge. Leaving hot and tropical Darwin and driving out to Kakadu National Park first we see amazing the wildlife and waterfalls of the Northern Territory. Litchfield National Park is the next stop short hikes and swimming in abundance. Finally ending in Darwin on the evening of day 17.

Kakadu National Park: Good level of fitness is required for Gunlom falls and Jim Jim falls
Uluru: Moderate level of fitness required. The base walk is on flat ground.
Kata Tjuta: Good level of fitness required. Walking on uneven surface required to complete the Valley of the winds walk
Kings Canyon: Good level of fitness required for a four-hour walk around the canyon’s rim.
