On this 2 days 1 night tour you will visit Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery where you will learn about the history of the oil distillery and take a guided tour. Continue onto Vivonne Bay Bistro for a delicious two-course lunch. Then explore the famous Seal Bay Conservation Park and walk amongst Australian sea lions with a National Park Ranger. Continue onto the fascinating In-flight Birds of Prey Display at Raptor Domain where you can meet an array of Australian birds and raptors. From here, you travel to Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park where you can get up close with Koalas, see Penguins swim and play, hand feed Kangaroos and Wallabies, learn about endangered species, interact with Snakes, Crocodiles and reptiles and experience Kangaroo Island Wildlife at your fingertips! You will then be transferred back to your chosen overnight accommodation.
On day 2 you will take a tour to Clifford’s Honey Farm to enjoy an informative talk by the beekeeper followed by tastings and an opportunity to sample homemade honey ice-cream. Then travel to Hanson Bay Visitor Centre Café for a scrumptious two-course lunch. After lunch, you have the chance to look for Koalas nestled up in the eucalypts and see an abundance of native birdlife in the wildlife sanctuary.
Your last stop on Kangaroo Island is to travel to the western most part of the Island, Flinders Chase National Park to witness stunning coastlines and walk around Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Then we will return to Adelaide via the Penneshaw Ferry Terminal or Kingscote Airport for the return journey to Adelaide.

Adelaide to Kangaroo Island
Early morning pick up from your Adelaide or Glenelg hotel for a scenic coach journey to Cape Jervis taking in the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula with its vineyards, coastal views, and rolling hills. On arrival, board the SeaLink Kangaroo Island ferry for the 45-minute crossing to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. Here you will board your luxury SeaLink coach and your local driver/guide will take you on a tour of South Australia's premier nature-based tourism destination.
Your first official stop will be Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery where you will listen to an introductive talk about the history of the oil distillery and take a guided tour. Finish off with some free time in their souvenir shop where you will find an assortment of Eucalyptus products. Continue onto Vivonne Bay Bistro located on a 260 hectare bush property, for a delicious two-course lunch.
After lunch visit Seal Bay Conservation Park and enjoy a guided beach walk with a National Park Ranger amongst a breeding colony of wild and rare Australian sea lions. Your tour will then visit another amazing wildlife attraction, the fascinating In-flight Birds of Prey Display at Raptor Domain. Enjoy a delightful interactive experience and meet an array of birds and raptors.
From here you will travel to Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park where you can get up close with Koalas, see Penguins swim and play, hand feed Kangaroos and Wallabies, learn about endangered species, interact with Snakes, Crocodiles and reptiles and experience Kangaroo Island Wildlife at your fingertips! Your coach will return to your choice of overnight accommodation in Kingscote, American River or Penneshaw.
Kangaroo Island to Adelaide
After your morning hotel picks up, your second day of touring begins at Clifford's Honey Farm to enjoy an informative talk by the beekeeper, followed by tastings and an opportunity to sample homemade honey ice-cream and honey beauty products.
Next, travel to Hanson Bay Visitor Centre Cafe for a scrumptious two-course lunch. After lunch, you will have the chance to look for Koalas nestled u pin the eucalypts and see an abundance of native bird life in the Wildlife Sanctuary.
Next, travel to the western most part of the Island and Flinders Chase National Park, one of Australia’s largest and earliest conservation parks. One-third of Kangaroo Island has never been cleared of natural vegetation and the thick eucalypt scrub is the habitat of many species of wildlife, much of which is uncommon or extinct on the mainland. After a short stop at the Flinders Chase, Visitor Centre travel through the park and enjoy breath-taking views of its unique trees, plants and coastal scenery. You will be taken to the rugged southern coastline for a walk on Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Remarkable Rocks provide great photographic opportunities and stunning sea views. Admirals Arch boardwalk takes you down a rugged cliff face to reveal this spectacular arch, a natural nursery and safe haven for playful Long-nosed Fur Seals that can be seen swimming and playing in the waves or resting on the rocks.
There is also a possibility that you will see more kangaroos and wallabies as we return to Penneshaw for the return journey to Adelaide. (BL)
