Arrive in Sydney
Your adventure begins when you land in Sydney – where you’ll be picked up from the airport and taken to Base Hostel, where you’ll spend your first 7 nights. You’ll have plenty of time check in, relax and meet the rest of your group.
City Orientation, Jet Boating and Night out today! First things first we’ll get your bank account organised this morning, so your spending money is sorted. We’ll then show you around the beautiful city of Sydney before Jet Boating on Sydney Harbour! It's a great way to see the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and soak up the spectacular views of Sydney. All whilst having a great laugh with your new mates.
Bondi Beach and Snorkelling
Today you will visit the famous Bondi Beach where you can take a swim or relax and top up your tan. Then you will do the Bondi to Coogee beach walk. Snorkel in secluded bays, play some beach volleyball and have an Aussie BBQ on the beach with a few cold beers. (L)

Sand Boarding and Dolphins
Wake up to the sun rising over what feels like real Australia. Feed wild kangaroos, spot wild koalas before tackling the biggest sand dunes in the southern hemisphere on a sand board! After lunch, we’ll jump on a boat cruise, spot wild dolphins and work on our tans getting towed along the back off our boat. We then make our way back to Sydney just in time for a fun night out on the town! (B, L)

Important NotesThings you need to know about this tour
Arrival Information: OzIntro starts every Monday. It’s best to arrive on the actual start date as there’s no activities on day one so you’ll have plenty of time to check in, relax and meet your group. If you do arrive in Sydney before your start date we will still pick you up from the airport and will book you into the hostel from the day you arrive. You’ll just need to pay approx. $32 AUD for any extra nights when you check in.
After OzIntro: During OzIntro you’ll get lots of help with finding work, accommodation and your onward travel. We’ll make sure you’re comfortable with what you’re doing, where you’re going and help you with everything you’ll need to have the trip of a lifetime with the new friends you’ve made.
Work in Oz: Working abroad should be a fun, rewarding experience. But finding a job in a new country can be difficult.
By doing OzIntro you don’t need to worry. We’ll give you everything you need to find work in Australia including exclusive access to our own ‘Oz Jobs’ Program: Before You Start: We’ll sort all the important things you’ll need before you start working in Australia. We’ll have your Aussie Bank Account open with your card and pin ready for when you arrive, along with your Aussie SIM card and Tax File number.
Training Courses: Certain jobs such as bar work and construction require you to complete specific training. We’ll explain what’s needed and can book you onto all necessary training courses after OzIntro.

Office Support: Our Sydney office is your home away from home and base for finding work. With unlimited free internet, printers, jobs boards and lots of friendly staff to help you.
Farm Work and 2nd Year Visas: If you do 88 days of regional or farm work in Australia you can apply for a 2nd Working Holiday Visa. We’ll give you lots more info on this during OzIntro, will help you find farm work and will also help you apply for your 2nd Year Visa.
Tax Stuff: We’ll help you understand how Tax and Superannuation works in Australia, and can organise any refunds you may be due, so you’ll have more money to spend on your travels.
Visas: You need a visa to enter Australia. Most people who do OzIntro are on either a Working Holiday Visa (WHV) or Tourist Visa. A WHV is available to those aged 18 - 30 from the UK, Canada, Ireland and many other European nations. We can organise your visa for you before you go.
Travel Insurance: Although Australia is a relatively safe place, it’s important that you cover yourself for the unexpected by arranging Travel Insurance before you go.
The current itinerary is 7 days including the Blue Mountains. After September 2017 the itinerary will change to 9 days and 8 nights and you will visit Port Stephens overnight.
