One of Sydney's busiest and best Backpacker nights happens at Side Bar. Just underneath the Wake Up hostel you wont have far to walk home after a few drinks. Find out whats on when you are there here.

Roy' Cafe is at the entrance to Wake Up. A great place to have a coffee and breakfast.

When we checked into the hostel we received discount vouchers for the cafe, a really great incentive to have a coffee and breakfast here before we set out to explore Sydney.

Chat to people, use the internet and ask the reception staff for advice on where to go in Sydney. We also stored our luggage here when we checked out as we didn't have a flight until later that evening. The staff were so helpful making sure we could use the bathrooms and go in and out to our luggage during the day if we needed.

Great views of central Sydney from the hostel

The city is on your doorstep at this budget accommodation in Sydney. However, you will not really hear the traffic from your room due to great sound proofing. We did spend a good half hour watching the world go by from the window on this busy corner of George and Pitt Street. This area is known as Railway Square.
